 In class we began reading The Time Machine and learned about reforms in the Industrial Revolution.  The information covered in class can be found on the last three pages of chapter 25 section 4 of your textbook.

Assignments turned in: Communist Manifesto, Industrial Rev Claim & Evidence(stations), closure 1-3 sentences: How was communism a reform of the Industrial Revolution?

Due After Break: One required anchor activity, finish reading The Time Machine & work on the summary sheet that is posted on google classroom.

Today we took notes from THIS presentation about three economic theories.  We then checked for understanding with THIS assignment.  After that, we began to analyze the Communist Manifesto  with THESE questions.  This assignment is due tomorrow.
Lastly we used our knowledge of morphemes to create a new word that represents our own economic philosophy.

We then researched the effects of the industrial revolution with sources in seven stations.  HERE is the assignment sheet for those who were in class.  HERE is the alternative assignment for anyone who was absent and missed working with sources at the stations. This assignment is due in its entirety tomorrow.

Today we took the open notes quiz based on HW reading.  We then clarified the causes, definition, & effects of the Industrial Revolution.  Lastly we defined and identified examples of THESE theme subjects.

HW: Read "The Real Cost of Cheap Fashion" on Google Classroom.
