Today we took notes from THIS presentation about three economic theories. We then checked for understanding with THIS assignment. After that, we began to analyze the Communist Manifesto with THESE questions. This assignment is due tomorrow.
Lastly we used our knowledge of morphemes to create a new word that represents our own economic philosophy. Today we filled in the charts for the vocabulary that you studied for HW on google classroom.
We then researched the effects of the industrial revolution with sources in seven stations. HERE is the assignment sheet for those who were in class. HERE is the alternative assignment for anyone who was absent and missed working with sources at the stations. This assignment is due in its entirety tomorrow. HW: Prepare for group work by completing one section of the vocab organizer on Google Classroom. Today we took the open notes quiz based on HW reading. We then clarified the causes, definition, & effects of the Industrial Revolution. Lastly we defined and identified examples of THESE theme subjects.
HW: Read "The Real Cost of Cheap Fashion" on Google Classroom. Complete the before reading and during reading guiding questions. Some can be answered in annotations. Today we discussed the word "fair" and worked to try to define it on our own based on deciding what fair distribution of resources is.
HW: Tomorrow you have notes due on the options listed below. There will be an open notes quiz. Today we looked at a variety of sources covering the debate over the removal of Confederate monuments and completed THIS assignment sheet. For question #5, answer as an open response on lined paper.
